Steve Jillings

Steve Jillings is chief executive officer of Internet security leader TeleSign, the largest service provider in the rapidly growing phone-based verification and authentication security segment. Prior to joining TeleSign, Steve was chairman and CEO of Vantage Media, a search-marketing firm he and his investment partners raised $70 million to acquire in February 2007. Under his leadership, Vantage Media grew into one of the largest performance-based online marketers in the country. Steve and his team took Vantage Media from a single vertical paid search firm to a broad-based, multi-vertical online marketer.

Prior to Vantage Media, Steve was president and CEO of FrontBridge Technologies, where he was responsible for taking the company from a startup to a global leader in managed messaging services. Steve was responsible for raising $28 million in three rounds of funding that allowed the team to build a broad portfolio of services combined with the largest global distribution footprint in the managed messaging space. The growth and accomplishments in that timeframe led to the successful sale of FrontBridge Technologies to Microsoft in August 2005 for more than $200 million. Prior to FrontBridge Technologies, Steve was a cofounder and executive vice president of Voyus, a recurring revenue IT services company based in Vancouver, B.C. Steve has more than 25 years of business-building experience, specifically in the areas of corporate finance, sales, marketing and technology. He has been responsible for seven startups throughout his career, taking them from inception to commercialization and eventual liquidity.
