How AdvisorMail Compliance Scanning Works

Review Mode

Inbound, Outbound and Internal Messages

Pre-Review*
  • Messages and attachments containing no compliance violations are sent to the intended recipient without interruption.
  • Messages and attachments containing non-compliant language are “trapped” until a compliance officer approves or rejects them.

Post Review*
  • All messages and attachments are sent to the intended recipient, even those containing compliance violations.
  • Once they are sent, messages and attachments containing compliance violations are placed in a folder for further review by an auditor at a future, non-immediate date.

* Pre- and post-review modes can be selected for any inbound or outbound email address, or even for an entire domain name.
